Our Story
SGA’s Green Gardening Professionals Program (GGPs) is a membership group for those working in the garden and horticultural industry.
GGP members are professional gardeners, horticulturists, landscapers, food gardeners, educators, trainers and nursery people.
Our members are committed to contributing to a sustainable future through the world of gardening. They seek to understand the geology, climate, soils, plants and ecology of the places they work. They combine this knowledge when designing, constructing and maintaining landscapes.
Green Gardening Professionals differentiate themselves from conventional landscapers through the techniques and products used, striving to create and maintain gardens in an environmentally responsible way.
