Kitten season is coming… can you be their safe place to land?

As the weather warms up, the number of mums, newborns and little litters needing rescue care starts to climb.

The first few weeks of a kitten’s life are incredibly fragile, and having a safe foster home can quite literally make all the difference. A quiet space, a warm bed and someone keeping a close eye on them can give these little families the best possible chance to grow up healthy and strong.

We’re currently looking for foster carers who can welcome:

🐱 Mums with newborn kittens: giving a mum and her babies a calm, safe space to settle and grow together.

🐾 Young litters: kittens who are a little more independent but still need a safe foster home until they’re ready for adoption.

You don’t need to be a kitten expert. Our foster team will guide you through the process, talk you through the type of fostering that could work for you and make sure you have the support you need along the way.

Meet Maui 🧡

Sweet, affectionate and full of personality, Maui is a lovable boy with just the right amount of cheeky charm. With his enormous paws, fluffy tail and seriously handsome looks, he certainly knows how to make an impression!�
Maui loves his creature comforts and can often be found lounging happily on the sofa, soaking up all the cosy moments. When he’s feeling adventurous, he enjoys roaming around his foster carer’s catio, taking in all the sights, sounds and smells from the safety of his own little kingdom. He’s also a playful boy who loves having fun and can be a little cheeky at times. He’ll do best with humans who can read his cues and provide plenty of enrichment.�
Maui is wonderful with other cats and has enjoyed playful interactions with his feline friends.

Meet Kitty 🧡

Kitty is an independent little lady who loves having her own space and curling up in her favourite cosy corners.

She’s affectionate on her terms, but when she’s ready for some love, she’ll happily come over for head rubs and reward you with the sweetest little head bumps. When she’s feeling comfortable, she’s also quite the professional purrer and may even roll over for a tummy show!

Kitty is very food motivated, especially when creamy treats or wet food are involved, and she loves chasing her favourite mouse toy.

Meet Mac and Cheese 🧡

Mac is a confident little character with a heart full of affection. He tends to approach new spaces with plenty of bravado, ready to explore and make himself at home, although underneath that confidence is a wonderfully sweet and gentle boy. With his friendly nature, playful personality and endless supply of purrs, Mac is an easy little guy to fall in love with.

Cheese is an incredibly sweet and affectionate boy. He can appear a little shy when he first finds himself somewhere new, but that hesitation doesn’t last long at all. Once he realises he’s safe, you’ll see Cheese has a beautifully soft, friendly nature and is the kind of boy who will quickly settle into your life and make himself very easy to adore.

While these two can be adopted separately, we would absolutely love to see them find their forever home together.

Meet Maisie 🧡

Maisie is a gentle, sweet girl who has blossomed beautifully during her time in foster care. Maisie loves being close to her people. She’ll happily follow her foster carer around throughout the day, making sure she knows exactly what’s going on. When it’s time to relax, Maisie is quick to show her affectionate side - rolling around on the floor asking for pats and happily coming up onto the couch for cuddles.Her sweet head butts, happy purrs and gentle nature make her an absolute delight to have around.

Maisie has been raised in a busy foster home with children, another cat, a dog and plenty of visitors, so she’s accustomed to the sights and sounds of family life. She would be suitable as a solo cat or in a home with a friendly resident cat. Her foster family have started harness training her too so she can safely enjoy outdoors time.

Meet Smooch 🧡

A little reserved at first, Smooch has the gentle soul of a grandpa and a whole lot of affection waiting underneath. Once he feels comfortable, his smoochy side comes out in full force, and he certainly lives up to his name!

He absolutely loves affection and will happily soak up head bunts, chin scratches and cheek rubs for as long as you’re willing to give them. He’s not quite a lap cat yet, but he’s warming up to the idea!
By day, he’s a professional sleepyhead who appreciates the quieter things in life: a cosy spot to snooze, a peaceful home and humans who are happy to shower him with love.

His adaptable and easy-going nature means he could be equally happy as a solo cat, lapping up all the love and attention his humans have to give, or joining a multi-cat household with friendly feline companions.

For someone looking for a gentle, affectionate and quietly charming companion, this sweet boy could be the perfect addition to the family.
