Child Australia Nightcliff Campus Nightcliff Campus caters for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years within ELC and OSHC programs. After School Care operates from 2:30 to 6pm during school terms.

We acknowledge and respect this partnership by sharing the goals of both Nightcliff Primary Schools values and Child Australia’s Vision and Mission. Our objective is to support the Nightcliff Community by providing an education and care service as a place of learning, play and belonging for families and their children. We provide an all encompassing curriculum that takes an integrated, holistic approach and recognises the connections between children’s families and the importance of building reciprocal respectful relationships. Our environments are planned, purposeful and designed to engage each child’s unique needs and interests. Our team of exceptionally qualified and experienced Educators are dedicated to our children and families in our campus community. Our ELC is rated at EXCEEDING the National Quality Standard, and our OSHC is rated as MEETING. The ELC and Vacation Care programs operate between 7:30am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, and close for 2 weeks over the Christmas break. Our fees are:
ELC $112 a day
OSHC $35 a day for after school care & $73 a day for vacation care. Our programs are registered to enable you to apply for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Our uniquely small and intimate service hosts four play studios, supporting flexible, inclusive and individualised care and education for all children. Meals and snacks are prepared to suit your child’s dietary requirements, be it for cultural or medical reasons. Protecting every child, every day... together.

At Child Australia, we use a simple shared language for child safety - *See it. Stop it. Say it.*

Drawing on best practice and evidence-based research, we developed our own initiative *See it. Stop it. Say it.* and we're rolling it out across every service we operate.

It's the standard we hold our educators to. And it's how we invite you in.

👀 𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝗶𝘁. - Our educators are trained to notice the small things, body language, a shift in mood, an interaction that doesn't quite sit right. We use an Adult Behaviour Traffic Light Framework that names what's safe, what's concerning, and what's harmful — including the boundary-blurring behaviours that often go unspoken in our sector.

🤚 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗶𝘁. - When something doesn't fit our standard, we interrupt early. Quietly. Firmly. Before it becomes a problem.

🗣️ 𝗦𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘁. - We have clear escalation pathways to service leaders, to Compliance Leaders, to Senior Leaders, and where required, directly to the Regulatory Authority. Raising a concern in good faith isn't just permitted at Child Australia. It's expected, supported, and protected.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂

Looking for something special to support your child’s wellbeing on Fridays? 💛

We’re excited to introduce the Fun-Key Yoga Program by Hey dee ho educational services, now running fortnightly on Fridays at our Nightcliff Campus! 🧘‍♀️✨

These yoga sessions are designed to be fun and interactive. Children explore movement through storytelling, music, games and imagination.

Each session supports key areas of development including:

Celebrating events at Nightcliff Campus.

We have had the opportunity to celebrate some meaningful events across our centre with one of our favourites being inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar!

Our play studios, known as, Banimadla, Wilwilma and Wudut, each explored the story in their own unique way. There was a range of story readings, food hunts to help feed the children's self-created caterpillar as well as making their own caterpillar hats and vegetables for their hungry caterpillar creations. So much fun was had & the children were fully immersed in each experience while learning about healthy eating along the way.
