Exciting news! 🤗
Your books arrived in PNG! Out of 150 boxes, the resources have been divided into 55 box sets and distributed to multiple locations. It’s so great to see hands-on results, these resources are truly life-changing for young people in PNG. Thank you to Mum’s Preschool helpers in Port Moresby, and to everyone who donated from Australia.
I’ll let you know when I begin collecting again. Will def be after the house is built 😅 xx

Hi local friends, if you have any books to donate to the PNG mums, I’ll need them to be dropped off within the next week. I’ll be sending almost 100 boxes on a shipping container from Brisbane end of next week. I have plenty of spare boxes, if u want to just drop the books off, and I’ll take care of packing. Also happy to collect on Sunday if you want to hand over at church. Thanks! xx r

DO U WORK @ A SCHOOL IN SEQLD?

55 boxes packed! 🤗. The next step to get these boxes up to PNG is to FILL a 20-40 foot shipping container with second-hand school furniture. Thats a LOT of desks, chairs, shelves and resources.

If you work at a school in South East QLD and are upgrading your old furniture, we’ll take it! Just let me know, and I’ll organise a truck and we’ll pack it into a shipping container and then onto a boat and send it up to PNG. The furniture will go to PNG schools and the boxes will go to preschools throughout the country. It’s that simple! 😅🩷🤦🏻‍♀️😊🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh my goodness look at all this loot!! Heritage Park ward got together and decided to contribute individual packs of resources to children in the PNG mums Preschool project. We have over 100 bags to send up to PNG villages! 🥹🥰 I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. There are so many hands helping accomplish this beautiful work. Much love and thanks x

Check out these beautiful pics straight from Mums Preschools in PNG. Inspirational volunteers like Ali Kisau have created 18 preschool (yes, eighteen!) classes on the tiny island of Daru (see on the map - wow!), and they are ready and eager to receive supplies and resources.
This is one of DOZENS of villages creating preschools in villages throughout PNG, and they need our help to succeed and grow. We have 70 boxes filled with books and resources shipping from Melbourne tomorrow, but we still need more! Please use our drop off locations, or I can swing by and collect locally.
