Frederick Marsden Youth Centre The Frederick Marsden Youth Centre was established in 1929.

Starting as an orphanage, then a camp and conference facility, it's now home to a thriving group of non-profit organisations, activities and events that serve our local community. The Frederick Marsden Youth Centre was established in 1929 by Frederick Marsden for the benefit of the local community. Since that time it has served as a home for boys, a camp and conference facility and now operates as a thriving community precinct for lots of non-profit organisations, activities and events.

Bring the family this Saturday to Kallangur Twilight Markets - July 4th! Set up your picnic rug and browse over 120 boutique retail and food vendors with live tunes to keep you entertained. Gates open from 4pm and we’re closing a little earlier at 8pm this month due to the colder weather. ❄️☺️

We’re so lucky to be part of events like these — getting out into the community, meeting wonderful locals, supporting small businesses, and helping keep everyone safe while they enjoy a great night out.

The Kallangur Twilight Markets are a volunteer-powered, not-for-profit community event run by the Frederick Marsden Youth Centre, with proceeds helping cover event costs and supporting local charity and community initiatives.

If you see Paula and Bethany tonight, make sure you stop by and say hello! They’ll be the ones trying very hard not to spend too much at the markets… but let’s be honest, nobody goes to a market “just for a look” 😂🛍️

We love hosting our community! Thousands of families gathering peacefully to enjoy each others company and to support small businesses, chefs, artists and creators… ☺️

Thanks to your continued support, we’re able to continue this unique family-friendly event and continue to update and improve our facilities to host our community well for years to come…

Would you like to see more outdoor movie nights on the calendar in 2026? 🍿🎥 These would be seperate to our Kallangur Twilight Markets and include a big screen family movie in the amphitheater with a select range of food and dessert trucks. Cast your vote with a thumbs up on this post! 👍🏻🍔🥤🍦

We love our wide open green space, it’s truly unique and perfect for the community to gather for family events just like these. There’s not many large outdoor gathering spaces like this in suburbia anymore! 🌳🌲☀️
