Strathpine Squadron of the Australian Air League returns for Term 3 on Wednesday 15 July, and we're welcoming new cadets.
We offer young people a structured, supportive program built around aviation, a place to build confidence, make friends, and learn from pilots and engineers. It's the perfect place for any kid who loves aviation and wants to learn while being in a group who all have similar passions. Alongside flying and aviation theory, cadets take part in drill, camps, and community activities.
We meet every Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM during the school term at St Paul's School, Bald Hills. Anyone is welcome, with cadets being from ages 8 through to 18.
We're also on the lookout for adult volunteers. No aviation experience needed, just a willingness to support young people in your community, whether that's helping out occasionally or taking on a leadership role.
Come along and see what we do, the first three parade nights are free, with no obligation to join. Join us for our first week back on Wednesday 15 July at 6:00 PM.
