While things have been a little quiet in Monash (as we wait on new staff decisions), it's great to see how parents continue to represent YL in their backyard, meeting the needs of Melbourne's youth.
Well done Andrew (a YL Monash committee member).

Our Supporter's Night - what a unique gathering! (we estimate there was over 100yrs of YL experience in the room).

(Anthony): I am very privileged to have learnt & practiced the ministry of Young Life from these patient, persistent, wonderful Supports & staff.
Last night's theme was 'transition & hope' which saturated all our presentations & conversations. God is moving some of us along to new spaces, & new people. BUT.. we know His plan is perfect. We have HOPE that Jesus will be discovered & seen in new ways this year.
Thank you everyone for your encouragement.

Hey folks! If you haven’t heard, my name is Maigen and I’m the new area coordinator for Monash.
Anthony Wheaton and I have beeen busy working together behind the scenes coming up with some exciting stuff for the next season of Young Life in Monash. Can’t wait to share more and connect with you soon!

For now, let’s celebrate - join us for an extra special supporters and friends evening on Wednesday 30 March.
Come along for tea, coffee and dessert.
We will also be farewelling and thanking Anthony during this time.

So.. we didn't get the warm weather expected, but time just flew by trying new things with our Mt. Waverley teens. Check out the highlights from the day (& there were plenty of stacks NOT caught on camera too).

All had a great time, which helped get over the muscle soreness in the days that followed!
Young Life leaders are happy to put their body on the line to build confidence & resilience in our young friends, over long-term investment in their wellbeing.

Never done water ski activity? No problem - come & try it with us, as we visit the Melbourne Cable Park.

Experienced in Wakeboarding? Stretch yourself further on their course.

Open to students Years 7-10ish.

Thanks for viewing parts or all of our 'Lockdown' series with Monash Man & Bruce Lee. Hopefully this video prompts you to think past our silliness & reflect deeper on your personal journey.
Residents of Melbourne - keep praying that our current lifestyle hangs-in-there!
We're praying that schools will return as normal in a few weeks, and our Drop-In Space will be available for Monash-area teens from early FEB.
