A great night of learning and appreciation was had by all who attended our meeting on Wednesday.

Our lovely VPM ( Vice President Membership) Becky, challenged herself for the first time with the role of Toastmaster for the evening. She did an excellent job keeping the meeting lively and upbeat with some great segways between speakers.

We had a an exceptional speech project presentation, Counting fish in Exmouth by Dr Alicia, giving us all a fascinating insight into one of the many hats she wears as a Marine Biologist.

We also heard Hannah speak about the challenges and impact of having an acquired brain injury. She concluded her speech with a great call to action to focus on the positive things in life.

Congratulations to our wonderful former District 17 Area Director. Ange Booker for being awarded D17 Toastmaster of the Year for 25/26! Such a well deserved recognition for your care and service to D17 with special thanks from our Rockingham club.

Our next meeting is Wednesday evening August 12th at 6:30 pm, 20 Unaaro St , Hillman, Rockingham.
