25 years ago, advocacy work looked same same but different. Hearing Vic Perri reflect on those early days was a powerful reminder of the foundations we stand on and it made us incredibly grateful for the journey that brought us to last week.

In a time of intense political debate, over 15 multicultural community leaders came together for AGMC’s very first Community Roundtable. The insights were invaluable, proving that even in a heavy political climate, our greatest strength lies in our solidarity. We are stronger, wiser, and entirely unified.

A massive thank you to Settlement Council of Australia for their incredible support in helping us build these bridges and making this vital event happen! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

🌈 Our Sexual Health Matters: Our Voices. Our Bodies. 1-30 June at the SAMESH Community Space 57 Hyde St. Adelaide.

A group exhibition amplifying multicultural community voices through art and lived experience.

Join us for the opening of this Pride Month exhibition, 6pm to 8pm on Friday 19 June, as we bring together multicultural perspectives on sexual health, identity, and lived experience. In this exhibition, collage becomes a quiet yet powerful act of decolonising—reimagining dominant narratives and creating space for stories that have too often been overlooked or silenced. Each work brings together elements of culture, memory, migration, identity, and care, transforming them into new forms that centre voice, agency, self-determination, and community.

We honour the incredible work of these participating artists, whose pieces reflect resilience, creativity, and the strength of diverse cultural perspectives. From explorations of intimacy and respect, to reclaiming body autonomy, identity, and belonging, their artworks invite us to listen deeply, reflect thoughtfully, and envision more inclusive futures. Together, they remind us that healing is not linear—but through creativity, connection, and storytelling, we can build spaces where our bodies, histories, and voices are respected and held.

In collaboration with the Australian GLBTIQ Multicultural Council - AGMC, the exhibition will remain on display throughout June and can be viewed by appointment during weekdays between 10am and 4pm.

Please call 0406 874 966 to arrange a time to view.
