💔 A KITTEN HAVING KITTENS… PLEASE HELP SHILOH AND HER THREE BABIES 💔

Hi, my name is Shiloh…

I used to live on the streets in a school yard with my four siblings, my mum and our extended family.

My siblings were the lucky ones. They were rescued when they were just four months old and had their vet work done.

I saw them being trapped and I was so scared.

I didn’t understand that being trapped and rescued would mean safety, food and a warm bed.

So I hid.

By the time I was finally rescued, I was already pregnant.

A kitten having kittens. 💔

I didn’t understand what was happening to me. I was more hungry than ever, and when I started receiving regular, lovely meals, I devoured them.

Now, endless food and security have become my favourite things.

I’m still very timid and very scared, but two days ago I gave birth to four beautiful little kittens.

Sadly, one of my babies wasn’t moving after birth. My precious little baby grew wings and went over the rainbow bridge. 🌈💔

I was so sad.

But I still have three beautiful little babies, and I love them so much. I’m very protective of them.

I guess you could say I am one of the lucky ones.

I was rescued before my babies had to be born out there on the streets, where they would have faced the same dangers I did.

Now I need your help. ❤️

I would be so grateful if you could donate towards the veterinary care that my babies and I will need.

Another way you can help is by donating Royal Canin Mother & Babycat food. I need the best food to help replenish my body after having my babies and to make sure they get the nutrition they need as they grow.

💔 EVERYONE WANTED THEIR KITTENS… BUT NO ONE WANTED THEM 💔

Their kittens were wanted.

People saw their little faces and fell in love.
Applications came in.
Families were found.
One by one, their babies were chosen and went off to start their new lives.

But what about Mum?

Peggy Sue and Phoebe are still here. 💔

They gave everything to their babies. They kept them safe, cared for them and watched them grow.

And now their kittens have families to call their own…

But these beautiful mums are still waiting for someone to choose them.

🐱 Peggy Sue is a gentle, playful and curious girl who absolutely adores other cats. She can be shy at first, but with patience and kindness, she blossoms into the sweetest companion.

🐱 Phoebe is affectionate, chatty and full of love. She loves being close to her people, following you around and filling the house with her beautiful purrs.

They were mums when their babies needed them.

Now they just need someone to be there for them. ❤️

They deserve to know what it feels like to be chosen too.

Everyone wanted their kittens.

Vinco is the little boy who is still waiting. 💔

His two siblings have already been chosen. They’ve gone off to their forever homes, leaving Vinco behind with his little paws crossed, wondering…

“Is it my turn yet?”

This gorgeous tabby boy is playful, fun-loving and absolutely adores his toys. He loves having another cat around and really does need a friendly feline friend in his forever home.

He would LOVE a kitty companion to chase, wrestle, play with, explore with and share all those little everyday adventures.

He’s also dog-friendly, so a cat-savvy dog could be part of his new family too. ❤️

But while his siblings are starting their new lives, Vinco is still waiting for someone to see his little face and say…

“Yep. That’s my boy.” ❤️

We just can’t bear the thought of Vinco being the one left behind.

He deserves his own family.
A feline best friend.
A cosy bed.
Lots of toys.
And someone to love him forever.

💔 PLEASE SHARE BINKS’ STORY — 1,200 DAYS IS TOO LONG 🖤

Some cats are chosen straight away.
Some cats wait a little longer.
And some… just keep waiting.

Mr Binks has been waiting for his forever home for a heartbreaking 1,200 DAYS.

Think about that for a moment.

More than three years of waking up in foster care.
More than three years of watching other cats leave for their families.
More than three years of wondering if someone will ever choose him.

And Binks is still waiting.

Binks is a shy boy. The world can be overwhelming for him, and he needs someone who will understand that trust doesn't happen overnight.

But underneath that nervous little exterior is a beautiful boy who wants to feel safe.

He enjoys pats from his foster dad. He will occasionally allow himself to be picked up. He sneaks onto the bed for some attention and, when he's with his feline friend, his playful side comes out with chasing, zoomies and mischief.

Binks has so much more to give.

He just needs someone patient enough to wait for him to show it.

We can't help wondering how many people have scrolled past his photo over the years because he isn't the easiest cat.

But what if someone stopped?

What if someone looked at Binks and didn't see a shy, nervous cat?

What if they saw a boy who has been waiting for someone to believe in him?

We desperately want his story to change.

We are SO excited to announce that 9 Lives Project Rescue is heading back to the Cat Lovers Festival for the SECOND TIME!

We had such an amazing time last year meeting fellow cat lovers, chatting about rescue, sharing our stories and, of course, talking about all things cats! We can’t wait to do it all again!

You’ll find us in the Adoption Zone at STAND C744 on both days.

Our amazing volunteers have been busy behind the scenes creating beautiful handmade items that we’ll have available at our stall. Every purchase helps us raise much-needed funds for the cats and kittens in our care.

🐾 FRIDAY FEELS… BUT NOT FOR EVERYONE 💔

It’s Friday! And while some of us are winding down for the week, our rescue cats are busy showing off their best Friday-feels poses! 😻

Just look at these gorgeous faces… 🐾❤️

But behind those cute poses, there are cats who are still waiting.

Waiting for a family.
Waiting for someone to notice them.
Waiting for the chance to finally leave foster care and have a home of their own.

And while they wait, their care continues.

Vet bills don’t stop.
Medication doesn’t stop.
Food doesn’t stop.
Their need for us doesn’t stop.

We’re a small volunteer-run rescue, and we rely on the kindness of people who care about giving these cats a second chance.

💔 PLEASE DON’T SCROLL PAST THE TABBIES… THEY’RE STILL WAITING 💔

There’s something heartbreaking about watching a cat get overlooked simply because they have stripes.

Our beautiful tabbies are often the ones people scroll past.

Some arrived as tiny kittens, full of hope, and have now grown up in foster care. Others are still young, waiting for someone to notice them.

Meanwhile, they watch.

They watch other cats get chosen.

They watch kittens leave for their forever homes.

They watch their foster friends disappear, one by one.

And they’re still here.

Still waiting for someone to look at them and say, “That’s the one.”

They don’t care what colour their fur is.

They don’t know that tabbies can be overlooked.

They just know they want a family to love them.

💔 Some of our tabbies have waited far too long to be someone’s first choice.

So please… take another look.

Have a browse through our beautiful tabbies. You might find the face you’ve been looking for — the one you could easily scroll past, but might end up loving more than you ever imagined.
