Our usual meetings are held on Monday evenings at the Springwood Sports Club. New members and visiting Rotarians most welcome!

Please get in touch if you'd like to join our dinner meeting for interesting guests and friendship. Our Club regularly met on Monday evenings at the Oriental Hotel, Macquarie Rd SPRINGWOOD in the beautiful Blue Mountains. If the cap fits - nominate!

Along with our neighbouring mountains Rotary Clubs we are seeking nominations for the Police Officer of the Year awards - held annually to celebrate the men and women in blue who serve our community.

This is your opportunity to acknowledge outstanding acts of courage, compassion, understanding or devotion to duty by a member of NSW Police working in the Blue Mountains Local Area Command.

This week we welcomed one of our long time friends and faithful helpers Bev Waterson PHF as a Member of our Club - officially presented by Michele Ellery - District Governor, Rotary Clubs,Blue Mountains to the sea who was visiting our dinner meeting.

Bev (along with her late husband Laurie) has a long association with Springwood Rotary. Bev has been a Friend and Honorary Member for many years and always puts her hand up to help out with a smile and willing to tackle any task. We're thrilled that Bev has joined our ranks formally. Welcome Bev!

It's always a great time to join us - the new Rotary year starts on July 1 so if you have been thinking about finding out more about being a Member or a Friend of Rotary - send us a message and our President Liz will reach out for an informal chat.

Following our hugely successful morning tea in March Valda and Geoffrey went to Grace's Place to make the donations of quilts, dolls house and other toys to help the families who use this incredible facility. The funds raised on the day, in addition to donations kindly collected by our friends from Rotary Club of Lower Blue Mountains are set aside as we're hoping to raise money towards the purchase a ride on mower for Grace's Place.

Your support for our fundraising efforts goes a long way! This year we've made donations of around $15,000 to local, state and Rotary International charities and foundations. Our labour also helps local organisers with their events including Wellness Days, Variety Golf Day, Running Wild and athletics carnivals.

We're currently selling tickets in our MAJOR fundraising 5 for 5 raffle - tickets are only $5 and you can be in the running for $5000 in cash prizes. With only 2000 tickets being sold your odds are better than Lotto. Tickets are available from Springwood Garden Centre on Hawkesbury Road or keep an eye out for us at Winmalee Village. You can also send us a message to this page for the Club's bank details and we can get your tickets allocated.

Congratulations to all the organisers, players and supporters of today’s annual Variety Charity Golf Day!

It was our pleasure to bbq up a storm and fill your bellies before you took on the course. Our “lot” with sausage, egg, bacon & onion 🌭was a crowd favourite.

Well done to our cheery and hardworking team - service with a smile!

This week instead of our usual Monday dinner meeting we enjoyed barefoot bowls & dinner - a great evening of fun & friendship with members, friends & families.

We were so pleased to support our friends from Running Wild with their event yesterday at Wentworth Falls.

As well as being a fundraiser, it ticked some more boxes and is something our Club prides itself on - supporting our community with the added bonus of lots of warm fellowship.
