I am excited to be speaking at the Welcoming Australia Symposium in Adelaide this May. This year’s Symposium, ‘Think Systemically, Act Locally’ will bring together a remarkable mix of practitioners, researchers, policy-makers and civic leaders to share ideas and leading practice on welcoming and inclusion. It’s shaping up to be a thoughtful, timely and genuinely energising program - and I would be delighted to see familiar faces there. Come and book your ticket today: symposium.welcoming.org.au.

We were proud to be part of the Source Kids Disability Expo — one of Australia’s leading events connecting families, professionals, and organisations supporting children, teens and young adults with disability. The expo brings together providers, services, technology and community programs all under one roof to help people explore supports, learn from experts and discover new opportunities.

At the expo, our team shared how inclusive sport at One Culture creates opportunities for young people to build confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging through football and community programs.

For us, sport is more than a game — it’s a pathway to connection, participation and community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our presentation and took the time to learn about what we do. We loved meeting so many families, professionals and community members passionate about inclusion.
