IWCB Youth

IWCB Youth IWCB youth is our junior version and sub branch of NFP band Inner West Community Band. Ages 10-18.

We are currently accepting students from any school in years 5-10. Students must play a traditional concert band instrument (Flute, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone (alto, tenor or baritone), trumpet, french horn, bassoon, trombone, euphonium, baritone, tuba, percussion (mallet and auxiliary included). Percussionists must be willing and able to play all percussion equipment not just drum k

it. We will also accept keyboard players if they are willing to play mallet percussion (glockenspiel/xylophone). Students must have been playing their instrument for a minimum of 2 years, or an AMEB grade 2 + equivalent.

Have a young musical in the family from years 5-10!?

Our youth band is the perfect place for them to hone their skills and make connections with other young musicians. Lead by experienced conductor and educator Adele Sutton. Rehearsals take place in Concord.

We accept all traditional concert band instruments.
