TJ, our little cute monster, has never met a kangaroo he didn’t want to spar with! 😂🦘

Poor Hugo tolerated the play-fighting for about 30 seconds before deciding he’d had enough and hopped away. Undeterred, TJ tried to follow him, spotted an even bigger roo nearby, and immediately thought, “You’ll do!” 🤣

This little guy is so social and always looking for someone willing (or unwilling!) to join in his games. Life with TJ is never boring! ❤️🦘

2am apparently means playtime if you’re Wispy. 🌙🦘

After waking me up in the middle of the night, this cheeky red-necked wallaby climbed onto the bed and happily soaked up all the scratches and cuddles, eyes closed and looking completely content. But don’t let that innocent face fool you… deep down she wasn’t after affection at all. She was plotting a wrestling match and desperately trying to convince me that 2 o’clock in the morning was the perfect time for sparring and mischief!

Life with wildlife is never boring, and with Wispy around, bedtime is always negotiable. ❤️🦘

Tommy was very keen to groom TJ today. 😄

Despite a few polite reminders to “be nice, Tommy!”, TJ eventually decided he’d had enough pampering and simply walked off. ❤️🦘

Oh my goodness, this is absolutely beautiful ❤️ Billie’s story has always been such a special one to us, from a tiny 2.2kg orphan to the big, confident wombat she is today. Maureen has captured her so perfectly.

‘This is Billie from Kangaroo Pouch Animal Orphanage. When Billie arrived in care at just seven months old, she was a tiny orphan weighing only 2.2 kg after losing her mother in a car accident. She required round-the-clock care, warmth, and patience to survive.

Today, Billie is a strong and confident adult wombat, known for her determined digging, big personality, and even bigger appetite. Her journey is a powerful reminder of the resilience of Australia’s wildlife—and how much difference compassionate rescue can make.

By purchasing this artwork, you are directly supporting the lifesaving work of Kangaroo Pouch Animal Orphanage, helping provide food, veterinary treatment, and lifelong sanctuary for animals like Billie.’

This colour pencil drawing on beautiful thick paper is approximately 18cm x 21cm (actual drawing not paper).

Grandpa Swampy enjoying one of life’s simple pleasures… a fresh bottlebrush flower 🌺

Even in his old age, he still gets excited over the little things, and watching him happily nibble away always makes us smile. Despite only having one tooth left these days, he still manages to enjoy his favourite treats in true Grandpa style ❤️🦘
