NOW in its third year, the Barrie’s Mundal 1000 has once again proved that even the humblest of machines - a trusty Honda ‘Postie’ motorcycle - can drive change.

MundAl1000 Day 5
Today we successfully completed 1079 KMS and arrived in Albany, pushing our bikes and bodies to the limit, which pales in comparison to the challenges faced by families and children battling Cancer.

We participate in this ride to contribute in a small way.

We are deeply grateful for the support of our corporate, event, and individual sponsors, who make this event possible.

Our appreciation also extends to our support crew, whose efforts enable our riders to focus on the track ahead.

To our riders, you have demonstrated remarkable resilience and dedication, earning a well-deserved rest before returning stronger in 2026.

Mundal 1000 Day 5
A more "Sophisticated" day for our riders today after yesterday's hard riding.
We left Denmark caravan Park and started the day with breakfast in town. We then followed the Bitumen up to Ironwood Estate Wines where Jemima supplied up with some lovely Shiraz to go with our steaks we picked up from the Denmark butchers.
We then had Devonshire tea for lunch.... Checked out the porongorup national Park and headed off to our final camping spot at Chenyes beach caravan Park. In
Looking forward to rolling into Albany in the morning.

Mundal 1000 day 4
Setting off from Walpole Hotel Motel after being looked after with an amazing dinner we headed on Bitumen through the valley of the giants and connected up with the MundAl track. It was a long tough day of riding through gravel, sand and washouts. All riders made it through with bikes intact but Wayne D'Arcy experienced his second punctured tyre for the trip.
Chris Williamson tried to give his whole bike a bath when he misjudged the depth of water crossing but was able to remain upright and pull through.
We finished up at Denmark hotel for a beer and then on to our camp site for the night.
Covered off approx 720kms so far.
