So grateful to have been invited to lunch and to speak at Safe Waters Community Care - Ulladulla.

There’s a growing amount of people experiencing homelessness / houselessness and it seems like the barriers are getting larger and harder to get over.

Bring it on - because these people are strong and are coming up to challenge the current leaders.

💙 Could you spare a few hours to make a difference?

Safe Waters Community Care is looking for volunteers to join our team!

🏡 5pm–8pm: Help prepare meals, welcome new guests and provide connection, companionship and support.

🌙 8pm–8am: Become an overnight volunteer, helping ensure our guests have a safe and supported night. You’ll have your own locked room and separate bathroom.

💙 Come meet us, have a tour of the shelter and see how you can make a difference in someone’s life.

💙 Homelessness is on the rise in our community, and we need your help! Safe Waters Community Care is seeking overnight volunteers to help provide a safe and supportive environment for people experiencing homelessness. Shifts are 8pm–8am, with your own private room and bathroom. If you can spare a night and would like to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

💙 10 WEEKS. ONE COMMUNITY. A WHOLE LOT OF GIVING! 💙

A HUGE thank you to crossfithuey for organising this incredible initiative in support of Safe Waters Community Care! 🙌

For the next 10 weeks, CrossFit Huey is opening its doors and inviting the community to TRAIN FOR FREE every Saturday at 8am, or join the 5am ZUU session with uldla_zuu! 💪

All you need to do is bring a donated voucher from a local business or supermarket. Every voucher will help Safe Waters Community Care support people in our local community and contribute towards our Christmas hampers. 🎄🎁

And the best part? You don’t need to be a CrossFit member to join in!

🎉 We are thrilled to receive a $20,000 CommBank Staff Foundation Community Grant! 🎉

This grant will help cover essential costs of running our crisis accommodation, support our case management services, and contribute towards food costs for people staying with us, those we support through outreach, and participants in our programs.

As a community organisation providing crisis accommodation grants like this make a huge difference. They help us continue providing a safe place to stay, practical support, food and connection to services for people experiencing homelessness and hardship.

A huge thank you to the CommBank Staff Foundation members whose generosity makes Community Grants possible.
