๐Ÿง™โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฎ ONE TABLE LEFTโ€ฆ AND A LITTLE MAGIC TO BE THANKFUL FOR! ๐Ÿ’›

Something wicked is brewing beneath the fig tree at Mick Ryan Park, and A Witches Coven Murder Mystery is almost SOLD OUT! ๐ŸŽƒ

With just ONE TABLE remaining, we're heading towards another sell-out MUCK Up event!

But before the mystery unfolds, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to Shoalhaven City Council, whose Community Grants Program is funding this very special evening. ๐Ÿ™Œ

This support is about so much more than putting on an event.

It's about giving our MUCK Up Youth Committee the opportunity to dream big, get creative, take the lead and bring something truly unique to our community.

From developing the mystery and rehearsing their characters to planning the evening and helping bring it all together, our young people are showing what's possible when they're trusted and supported to turn their ideas into reality. โค๏ธ

And thanks to Council's support, we get to share that creativity with our community!

๐ŸŽจ๐ŸŽถ ART, MUSIC & A WHOLE LOT OF LOCAL TALENT! ๐ŸŒŸ
It's Escape ARTfest this weekend, and our community is about to come alive with creativity!
At MUCK Up, we love seeing young people given opportunities to share their talents, so we're especially excited that some familiar faces from MUCK'ed Up Talent will be performing as part of the festivities!
๐ŸŽค Including our MUCKโ€™ed Up Talent vocal category winner, Cheyenne Smith, who'll be performing at The Wondering Mind this afternoon (Friday) from 5:30pm. No doubt we'll see the Seaclear Vision team there!
And we're also looking forward to ArtFest - Meet the Music Makers 2026 at Milton Theatre tonight from 7:30pm, led by our very own Tina Broad from Sing Express โ€“ the wonderful talent behind Chorus 4 Kindness VII๐ŸŽถโค๏ธ
And there's so much more happening across the weekend:
๐ŸŽจ Open studios, exhibitions and workshops
๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ ARTfest Prizes Expo at Ulladulla Civic Centre
๐ŸŽถ Milton Gallery Walk and live music
๐ŸšŒ ARTfest bus tours
๐ŸŒฟ Art in the Park at Willinga Park
๐Ÿท Sculpture at Altar W**e Bar Milton
We know how much courage it takes to get up and perform, and we couldn't be prouder to see young people continuing to find opportunities to shine beyond the MUCKโ€™ed Up Talent stage. โค๏ธ
A huge shout-out to the Escape ARTfest organisers, artists, performers and volunteers for bringing another wonderful celebration of creativity to our community.
Get out, explore, support local creativity and enjoy everything our region has to offer this weekend! ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŽถ WE KNOW A GREAT COMMUNITY EVENT WHEN WE SEE ONEโ€ฆ

At MUCK Up, we're pretty passionate about creating events that give people a reason to get out, come together, try something new and connect with their community.

So when we see another local group doing exactly that, we're more than happy to help spread the word. โค๏ธ

This Sunday 4 October, the Ulladulla Milton Lions Club is taking over Lions Park, Burrill Lake for The Brill Gathering โ€“ a huge day of live music, activities, food, workshops and community connection from 11amโ€“10pm.

And there's another important reason for the Gathering.

It's an opportunity for the community to explore and have their say on the masterplan for the future of Lions Park โ€“ helping shape what this fantastic community space could become.

There is HEAPS happening throughout the day:
๐ŸŽธ Live music from 11am into the evening โ€“ including Rusty & The Bucketheads, fresh from winning our inaugural MUCK'ed Up Talent!
๐ŸŽถ A second stage showcasing local talent
๐Ÿ›น Skate and bike workshops
๐Ÿ€ Basketball
๐Ÿ’ƒ Dance and movement activities
โ™Ÿ๏ธ Chess and Scouts activities
๐Ÿ• Dog demonstrations
๐ŸŒฟ Treading Lightly community clean-up
๐ŸŽจ Art, sculptures and community displays
๐ŸŽ  Kids rides and activities
๐Ÿ” Plenty of local food
๐Ÿ›๏ธ Market stalls
โค๏ธ And lots more.

You can pop in anytime โ€“ stay for an hour or settle in for the day.

We're super proud to help the Lions Club promote this one. Community events don't happen without people willing to put in the work to create them, and this looks like a pretty special day for Burrill Lake.

So if you're wondering what to do this Sundayโ€ฆ
Join the Gathering. ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŽถโค๏ธ

๐Ÿง™โ€โ™€๏ธ ONLY 3 TABLES LEFTโ€ฆ SOMETHING WICKED IS COMING! ๐ŸŒ™

After the incredible weekend we had with MUCK'ed Up Talent, our Youth Committee isn't slowing down.

Next up, they're swapping the Milton Theatre stage for the trees of Mick Ryan Park as they bring you our next community mysteryโ€ฆ

Our young cast has been rehearsing, plotting and preparing an entirely new mystery โ€“ and this time, you have a part to play too.

Gather your table, enjoy a three-course supper beneath the trees, follow the clues and work together to solve the mystery before the night is over.

And just like MUCKโ€™ed Up Talent, this is another opportunity for our young people to create, perform, lead and bring something a little different to their community. โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ”ฅ ONLY 3 TABLES REMAINING! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

So if you've been thinking about coming, now's the time to gather your fellow witches, detectives and suspicious characters before the Coven is full.

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ OUR YOUNG PEOPLE HAVING THE CONVERSATIONS THAT MATTER

A huge thanks to 94.9 Power FM for having Bella and Clarrie from our MUCK Up Youth Committee in the studio yesterday morning.

Clarrie had plenty of good news to share after an incredible weekend at MUCK'ed Up Talent, as well as whatโ€™s coming next with our A Witches Coven Murder Mystery and Chorus 4 Kindness VII with Sing Express at Milton Theatre. ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŽญ๐ŸŽถ

Bella spoke about something much harder.

She talked about the I Respect program โ€“ our most recent initiative working with young people, coaches, mentors and local sporting organisations to build cultures based on respect, inclusion, positive relationships and leadership.

And she bravely connected that work to the devastating news that three women were killed in separate domestic violence-related incidents in NSW over the weekend.

These aren't always easy conversations to have.

But MUCK Up has never been afraid of difficult conversations when they matter.

We believe prevention starts well before violence occurs. It starts in the way we speak to one another, the behaviours we accept, the examples we set and the cultures we create around our young people.

And perhaps one of the simplest places to start is this:

๐Ÿ’™ Kindness is one of the most important forms of respect.

We're incredibly proud of Bella for being willing to use her voice to talk about something that matters โ€“ and of both Bella and Clarrie for continuing to represent MUCK Up and our community so well.

And already, sporting clubs have reached out to us since the interview wanting to know more about I Respect. We'll also be contacting more clubs and sporting organisations over the coming days as we continue building the program for 2027.

If you're involved in a sporting club, coaching, youth leadership or mentoring โ€“ or simply think you have something to contribute โ€“ we'd love to hear from you.

Reach out. Ask us about I Respect. Be part of the conversation.

Because changing culture doesn't start with one big action. It starts with conversations, relationships and people choosing to do things differently.

๐Ÿ’™ Kindness. Respect. Leadership.

If this post raises anything for you or someone you know, support is available through 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732.

๐ŸŒŸ WHAT A NIGHT! MUCKโ€™ED UP TALENT 2026 ๐ŸŒŸ

More than 20 young performers.
A packed Milton Theatre.
Music, dance, bands, circus, comedy and plenty of courage. โค๏ธ

Our first MUCK'ed Up Talent is done โ€“ and what an incredible weekend it turned out to be.

From Saturdayโ€™s workshops through to Sundayโ€™s showcase, we watched young people step outside their comfort zones, support each other, take on feedback and then get up on stage and give it everything they had.

Some had performed many times before. For others, this was something completely new.

Every single one of them deserved that audience โ€“ and our community turned up for them. ๐Ÿ‘

A huge congratulations to Rusty & The Bucketheads, who were announced as our inaugural MUCKโ€™ed Up Talent winners! ๐Ÿ†๐ŸŽธ

And congratulations to every performer who took part. This was never just about finding a winner. It was about creating another space where young people could have a go, share something they love and know their community was behind them.

A massive thank you to our mentors and judges Thalia Henry, Raelene Clifford, Gemma Hart and Tom Henry, who gave their time, experience and encouragement to our performers.

Thanks also to Tim Thomson and the sound and technical crew, our brilliant young MCs Matilda and Lawson, our volunteers, families and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the weekend happen.

๐Ÿ’› Commonwealth Bank Ulladulla, through the CommBank Community Donations Program, provided the $1,500 prize pool for our young performers.

๐Ÿ’™ ClubGRANTS funding (via Ulladulla Bowlo, Milton Ulladulla ExServos Club and Mollymook Golf Club) helped us meet other costs of delivering the event, including the Milton Theatre โ€“ making it possible for us to give these young people a proper stage on which to shine.

And finally, thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and filled the theatre.

We said all along:

Every performer deserves an audience.

On Sunday, you were theirs. โค๏ธ

And judging by what we saw on that stage...

We might just have to go around again in 2027! ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŽค๐ŸŽธ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐ŸŽญ
