Reaching the Maasai with dignity, education and choice 💜

We’re taking Chupis beyond the towns and into Maasai communities around Mto Wa Mbu, Tanzania, reaching girls who can be difficult to reach through traditional school-based programmes.

Our dignity kits provide reusable menstrual products, underwear, soap and essential menstrual health education — giving girls practical support to manage their periods with greater comfort, confidence and dignity.

But for us, it’s about more than handing out a kit. We listen, we educate, we ask questions and we learn from the girls themselves about what they need and what works for their community.

Because every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, participate and feel confident — whatever time of the month. 💜

Today marks the beginning of NAIDOC week! An annual celebration that highlights the achievements, history, and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This years theme reflects on the last 5 decades of movement. Honouring our elders, artists, and organisers that have continued to show up each year.

💜 Thank You for Helping Us Make a Difference! 💜

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Menstrual Health Day fundraiser and to Glory, Stella and Zawadi for running our training session at Migungani Girls school.

Because of your generosity, Chupis was able to distribute 50 dignity kits and 400 washable menstrual pads to vulnerable girls in Mto Wa Mbu, Tanzania.

For many of these girls, access to safe menstrual products can mean the difference between attending school or staying home. Your support is helping girls manage their periods with dignity, confidence, and hope for the future.

Together, we are breaking barriers, challenging stigma, and ensuring more girls can stay in school and reach their full potential.
