WEEKEND WATCH: Have you watched "Voices of Cane Country" yet - a new video series by CANEGROWERS capturing the stories, memories and experiences of cane growers over the years? The 1st and 2nd episodes are out - and they feature Innisfail's Joe Cini and Tully's Nancy Marsillio. They're a great watch.

Joe covers everything from cutting the cane by hand to surviving leptospirosis, "lady st*****rs (they didn't strip themselves - they stripped the cane)" and picking up the neighbours in his truck to go to dances, the cinema and beach picnics.

See both episodes at: https://shorturl.at/5p1tg
