Support Our Town’s Christmas Lights Appeal
This year, our small voluntary community committee is facing a significant shortfall in funding for the Christmas lights. We’ve received incredible support in the past, but donations from businesses and individuals are down and we completely understand the pressures everyone is under with the cost of living.
But every small donation truly helps. Lots of small contributions add up, and together we can light up our town again this Christmas.
The lights bring so much joy they lift our spirits, delight the children, and create that special festive atmosphere we all look forward to every year.
We’re also appealing to local businesses: the Christmas lights draw people into the town, boosting footfall and spend across shops, restaurants, cafés and services. They also help lift the mood and morale of employees during a busy season.
If you can support us in any way, no matter how small, it would make a huge difference to keeping our town shining bright this Christmas.
