SKA May Club Meet – Tomorrow

We’re good to go for the May club meet this Sunday.
📍 Middleton Point car park
đź•— 8:00am

The outlook is for workable winds and a building swell, so we should be able to find a few fun ones. Fingers crossed the rain holds off.

Plan for the morning:
🌊 A couple of hours in the water
📸 Maddog may be down snapping a few shots
🌭 Sausage sizzle BBQ and catch-up afterwards

We’re also encouraging a bit of a show and shine / board swap, so feel free to bring along:
• any boards you might be looking to sell
• any interesting or unusual boards, kneeboard gear, or memorabilia

Would be great to see current, past and future members come along — whether that’s for a surf, a snag, or just a chat

The proposed wave pool development at Aldinga is facing opposition from a small but vocal section of the community.
This project would be a massive positive for surfing in South Australia, helping young surfers progress, giving the older crew more opportunities to stay in the water, and providing a consistent space for training, progression and fun on our often fickle Metro coast.
Facilities like this don’t come around often, and for this one not to go ahead would be a huge missed opportunity for the broader South Australian surfing community.
If you support the project, please take a moment to sign the petition and help show the strong backing behind it.

Phillip Island – Day 2 Wrap

A big congratulations to Owen Fairweather for taking out the Open Division at the Neil Luke Phillip Island Kneeboard Classic 2026.

Results from the finals:
Open Division – Owen Fairweather
A Division – Paul Mannix
B Division – Brendon Robson

For the South Aussies:
Liam just missed out on progressing through his Open quarter final.
Patrick finished with a solid second place in the B Division (and also managed to take home a few prizes from the raffle, including a new Parkes board).

Well done to all competitors, and thanks to the KSV crew for putting on another great event as always.
