Joyful Foundation's partnership with Soroptimist International Townsville Breakwater sees this amazing project of the creation of about 850 Library Bags made to fit our stationery packs. Thankyou also to the for your appreciation post. It is wonderful to see our Charity continue to help N Qld school kids forge a brighter future.😇😇😇😇

Such wonderful feedback from one of the many schools that we have been supporting in North Qld over the last 14 years, . All monies raised and donated to the stay in North Qld, always supporting our local Community. As we are all volunteers, 100% of the monies raised go towards our cause, and not in administration or wages costs. We are all very passionate at the Joyful Foundation, and it is the positive difference that we are making in young children's lives and their schooling which is our reward. Our founder Ron Donnellan formed this Charity in 2012 knowing that: "It is in giving that you truly Receive". 😇😇😇😇

Your kindness eases financial stress for families and shows students that their community cares about them. Delivery of all packs is supported by Ergon Energy. Listen to Ethan Cavanagh's inspirational talk about how he is making a difference to local disadvantaged children locally, by providing backpacks not only filled with stationery and school supplies, but also filled with hope. Giving something special to those children that come to school with nothing, can make all the difference in their education.😇😇😇😇

Ethan Cavanagh, founder of 'Bags of Kindness' and 'Bags for Stars' has come on board this year and helped our Charity by providing 126 backpacks filled with quality stationery, and school supplies to local NQ schools.
Ethan has been doing this since the age of 10, and has been recognised twice as Young Citizen of the Year and recently has received an Order of Australia Association (Qld) Secondary School Citizenship Award.
Thankyou Ethan for all your hard work and dedication. Because of your efforts, 126 disadvantaged children from schools that the Joyful Foundation support, will have something special this year😇😇😇😇

Thankyou Townsville Bulletin for the coverage of the Tiaras and Black Ties Event hosted by St. James Shrine No 153. A big thankyou to all those that attended on the night which contributed to the Fund Raising Event not only being very successful, but also a fun filled night of Entertainment and happy times. It was great to see so many dressed up with their beautiful Tiaras and Black Ties, and help fundraise to help disadvantaged children back on track towards a better education and a brighter future.😇😇😇

A very big "Thankyou" to the Townsville Bulletin for the great article published in the "NQ Weekend". Come help celebrate the 50 years of giving by St James Shrine and their continued support they have been giving to their local community. The Joyful Foundation are very fortunate to have had the benefit for the last 3 years in their fundraising efforts which have raised $9000 towards helping disadvantaged children locally towards a better education. All monies raised on the night will further support the 100 schools that the Joyful Foundation have been helping over the last 13 years.😇😇😇

This is a gratitude post to Ergon Energy, one of our main partners within our Charity, for the wonderful work they do in the management, co-ordination and delivery of more than 1000 stationery packs throughout North Qld. The photos of the children receiving these packs from the Ergon Energy team, show smiles all round. A special shoutout to Kate Austin, the Senior Community Engagement Advisor for Energy Qld, for listening to our story 4 years ago and supporting us.The library bags that contain the stationery are just beautiful pieces of art, thanks to all the ladies at Soroptimist International Townsville Breakwater.
