Townsville Storms Established here in Townsville in 2003 by Shane Williams, we provide official weather information from Cooktown to Mackay and west to Mt Isa. Monday - Friday.

Please read our about section for more information. Townsville Storms, founded in 2010 by Shane Williams is an organisation based in Townsville Queensland. This page has been set up to provide weather related information to its subscribers within it's coverage areas. In addition, Townsville Storms also encourages social interaction and subscribers are quite welcome to post weather related comments and photos to our wall. Since Facebook is a well known medium for information sharing, creating a fan page was a good idea. Townsville Storms is managed by 7 administrators and may look at seeking new administrators in the future

Current administrators are:

* Shane Williams (Page Owner & Head Administrator, Page I.T, Maintenance and Moderator, Morning Forecasting (not weekends))

* Narelle (Public Relations, Moderator, Weather Updates and backup to Head Administrator)

* Cosimo (Daily Evening Forecasting)

* Sarah (Morning Forecasting. Administrator for Townsville Storms Weather Photography)

Apart from our website, photos of any type of weather event can be viewed on this fan page. Feel free to make comments which are relevant to this page and share it with others.

So many good memories I recall spending Friday afternoons with friends and work colleagues downing a few "Beers Off The Wood" in the late 90s and early 2000s.
