In October, 30 new Challengers will push themselves to their physical and mental limits, all to raise vital funds for childhood brain cancer research and clinical trials.

Chairman Donnie Harris, CEO Eleni Millios spent time with Nick Gottardo, Head of Paediatric and Adolescent Oncology and Haematology, Perth Children’s Hospital; Co-head, Brain Tumour Research Program, The Kids Research Institute Australia, MBChB FRACP PhD.

Professor Nick Gottardo is a leading clinician-scientist, specialising in paediatric cancer treatment and research. As the Head of the Department of Oncology and Haematology at Perth Children’s Hospital, he leads a team to provide quality treatment to children with cancer.

Eleni with Professor Maria Kavallaris AM who is an Australian scientist, based at the University of New South Wales' Children's Cancer Institute & is one of Australia’s most respected Cancer researchers and an internationally recognised leader in childhood cancer research & nanomedicine. On 25 January 2019, Kavallaris was appointed a member of the Order of Australia.
