No One Achieves Alone EOFY 2026

When Freedom Sports Foundation was established, it was built on a simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to participate, belong and thrive.

Today, through inclusive sport, school programs, community activations and lived-experience education, we've seen thousands of young people discover confidence, connection and possibility.

We've watched children try wheelchair sport for the first time.

We've seen perspectives change in classrooms, communities and workplaces.

And we've seen what happens when barriers are removed and opportunities are created.

As we approach the end of the financial year, we're launching our No One Achieves Alone EOFY Appeal 2026.

Every donation helps us:
🏉 Deliver inclusive sport programs
🏫 Reach more schools and communities
♿ Purchase and maintain adaptive sports equipment
🤝 Create opportunities for children and young people living with disability to participate, belong and thrive

Freedom Sports Foundation is proud to be a DGR-endorsed charity, meaning donations over $2 are tax deductible.

But this appeal isn't really about tax.

It's about giving more children the chance to:
✨ See what's possible
✨ Believe in themselves
✨ Dream bigger
✨ Achieve more

If our mission resonates with you, your family, your organisation or your business, we'd be incredibly grateful for your support.
Because no one achieves alone.

From Vision to Impact: Freedom Sports Foundation 2025

Today, we are proud to share the inaugural Freedom Sports Foundation 2025 Annual Report. What began as a conversation in 2024 between people who believed sport should be accessible to everyone has grown into a national charity creating opportunities for children, young people and adults living with disability across Victoria, and now Australia.

Over the past 12 months we have delivered inclusive sport programs, expanded our disability inclusion education initiatives, welcomed new partners, supported more participants and continued breaking down barriers to participation. But this report is about far more than programs and partnerships.

It's about the young person who discovered confidence for the first time in a sports chair or playing an adaptive sport.

It's about the family who found a community that understands.

It's about the volunteers, supporters and partners who have backed our vision and helped turn ideas into impact.

As a Foundation founded by people with lived experience, we know inclusion isn't something that happens by accident. It happens when people choose to act.

To everyone who has supported Freedom Sports Foundation from our begining in 2024 through to our most awesome first full year, 2025, thank you.

We invite you to read our 2025 Annual Report and see what we've achieved together, and more importantly, what is possible for the future.

See. Believe. Dream. Achieve.

This National Volunteer Week, we want to acknowledge and thank the incredible volunteers who make Freedom Sports Foundation possible.

Across our programs, events, schools and community initiatives, volunteers play a vital role in creating inclusive opportunities for people living with disability and their families.

They are coaches, mentors, drivers, organisers, advocates, parents, students, professionals and community members who generously give their time to help others feel connected, included and empowered through sport.

As a lived-experience led organisation, we know the impact of genuine human connection. Our volunteers help create environments where participants are not defined by barriers but supported to thrive.

To every volunteer who has contributed to Freedom Sports Foundation, thank you. Your contribution matters more than words can express.

This year’s National Volunteer Week theme, “Your Year to Volunteer”, is a reminder that volunteering changes communities and often changes the volunteers themselves.

Interested in making a real difference in your community?

We are always looking for passionate volunteers to help create inclusive opportunities through sport, connection and lived experience. Whether you can give a few hours or become part of the journey long term, we’d love to hear from you.

Come join us and help change lives through inclusion, community and sport.
