The Level the Field Hub has officially launched!

If you're curious about working or volunteering in sport and active recreation, or already part of the sector and keen to keep learning and growing, the Level the Field Hub is here to support you.

Designed for people with disability, the Hub offers free online learning and practical resources to help you get to know the sector, build your skills and confidence, take steps towards working or volunteering, and explore how you can belong, contribute and grow.

Through the Hub, you can:

How awesome is the Toyota AFL Open?! Bringing everyone together through all-abilities AFL, playing, cheering, making friends and having the most fantastic time!

We loved watching our Freedom Sports Foundation juniors show their wheelchair AFL skills, support each other and enjoy being part of it all.

To the organisers, coaches, volunteers, families and supporters thank you for making it such a special experience. 🙌

After a few weeks away representing Australia in Spain at the Wheelchair Handball World Championships, our very own Hendo is back behind the microphone and ready to go!

And there's plenty to catch up on!

❤️ THIS is what See. Believe. Dream. Achieve. looks like.

We could not have been prouder this weekend to see one of our own, Will, representing Wheelchair AFL Juniors on the biggest stage of all, taking part in the AFL Grand Final Parade and then joining the celebrations at the Grand Final medal presentations. 🏆

What makes this moment even more special is knowing where it all began. Only a couple of months ago, we celebrated the third anniversary of the commencement of the Wheelchair AFL junior program.

That program came about after an enormous amount of persistence, belief and advocacy from our junior players and their families particularly Hugh and Nicholas, who helped make the case that young wheelchair users deserved the same opportunity as every other kid: a place to start, play, belong, develop and dream about where footy might take them.

Fast forward three years… and there was Will, waving to the crowds during Grand Final week and representing a generation of young wheelchair footballers on one of Australian sport’s biggest stages.

That’s pretty special. ❤️

We are incredibly proud of all our Freedom juniors and so grateful to the families, coaches, volunteers and the AFL Victoria team who have helped build and grow this pathway.

Three years ago, these kids were asking for an opportunity.

Today, they are showing everyone what is possible when that opportunity exists.
