Roadrunners-- Tomorrow is the last day of school! A few reminders:
1. Report cards and summer learning letters will go home tomorrow.
2. If you have medication in the clinic, please make arrangements to pick it up. It cannot be stored over the summer.
3. Dismissal is at 1:02pm tomorrow.
4. Have a WONDERFUL summer break! We look forward to seeing you in the Fall 💚

Monday, May 18th! Meadows Field Day 2.0 for 3rd-5th grade students who got their Field Day time cut short today due to situations out of our control.

A HUGE THANK YOU to our amazing admin team, PE coaches, and Meadows staff for planning and facilitating this opportunity. 💚

“Dear Meadows Families,

Due to the district wide secure earlier today, portions of our scheduled Field Day activities for students in Grades 3 through 5 were interrupted. Our team knows how much our students were looking forward to this experience, so we are excited to announce a “Field Day 2.0” celebration on Monday, May 18, to help make up for missed activities and celebrate our students.

Students will participate in modified indoor activities throughout the day, including sports games, bounce houses, carnival games, tattoos, photo backdrops, tug of war, a 40 yard dash, popsicles, and bubbles.

Because all activities have been moved indoors, Meadows will need to operate as a closed campus on Monday. Sadly, we simply do not have the indoor space necessary to safely accommodate visitors while students rotate through activities and adjusted schedules.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to create a fun and positive experience for our students while maintaining safety and supervision expectations.

Thank you to the Bagel Harker Heights for providing breakfast for our teachers this morning! This was the perfect treat to kick off teacher appreciation week. Also, shout out to our PTA for providing Star Wars themed drinks for teachers. What a great day to be a Roadrunner!

A reminder that tomorrow our 3rd-5th grade mathematicians will be taking their Math STAAR.

How can you help? Make sure they sleep well, eat a good breakfast (breakfast is free for all students at school,) and arrive on time.

3rd-5th grade students do not need backpacks tomorrow.
