✨ Back on the road and feeling very grateful ✨

After a bit of an unexpected pause, I’m happy to say my car is back up and running and tutoring sessions will be resuming 🚗📚

A huge thank you to Prior's in Kapunda for taking such great care of my car and getting me safely back on the road — I truly appreciate your help in keeping my business running as smoothly as possible!

Thank you as well to all the wonderful families who were so patient and understanding during this time. I’m really looking forward to getting back into sessions and continuing our learning together

Sometimes even our biggest helpers need a little TLC 🤍🚗

My trusty car (a very important member of the Nourish the Mind Services team!) is currently off the road following a mechanic’s recommendation, which means I’ve had to temporarily pause student sessions.

I’m hoping repairs will be completed by next week and I’ll be back on the road as soon as possible. I truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and kindness while this gets sorted.

Thank you for your continued support — it means more than you know. We’ll be back to learning, growing, and nourishing curious minds very soon 💛📚

It's prep time!

Sessions are starting this week!

After school sessions will be getting their service agreements tonight and tomorrow 😊

On-site students, if you have not gotten a confirmation email, I am still tackling things behind the scenes to get these sessions organised and may not start until week 3 😮‍💨

Confirmations of scheduled session times for Term 1 are going out this afternoon, with week 1 usually being optional, this week 1 will have the Hot Weather Policy activated 😳 no sessions will be occurring.

If reading, numbers or handwriting were never explained in a way that worked for you at school — and it still shows up in everyday life — would you be interested in something practical and supportive?

I’m exploring a short adult course called Everyday Skills, covering:
🔹 Everyday reading & writing
🔹 Practical maths for real life
🔹 Handwriting for clarity and legibility

This would be private, calm, and focused on real-life skills — not school-style learning.

Financial concepts are taught in school — but many families feel students need more time, clarity, and real-world examples to truly understand them.

I’m developing focused lesson plans that help students:
• Apply maths skills to everyday money situations
• Understand interest, saving, and budgeting
• Build confidence with financial decisions

I’m considering running this as a short course or workshop for students and would love parent input.

I work closely with children who find reading, writing or maths harder than it should be — and I’m currently developing simple, parent-friendly lesson plans that support learning at home without overwhelm.

These plans are designed to be:

✨ Stage 1 Phonics Parent Workshop ✨

If your child is learning to read and you’re not quite sure how to help at home — this workshop is for you.

I’ll walk parents through:
• what Stage 1 phonics actually means
• how sounds and blending work
• how to support reading without guessing or drilling

You’ll also receive a take-home phonics resource pack with simple, practical tools you can keep using at home.

Suitable for parents of children in Reception – Year 2.
