Belonging - Commission piece

The meeting place at the center of the artwork represents family — the heart of connection and identity. Surrounding it are circles that symbolises different stages, events and changes that have occurred throughout life. The figures of people represent family and friends who have shared in those moments. The mountains on either side stand for personal growth and individual interests, reminding us of the strength and journey within ourselves. Flowing across the piece is the river that represents connection and life, linking all elements together and showing how our relationships, experiences and growth are deeply interconnected.

Family -

This artwork is a reflection of family, Country and the journeys that shape them both. The flowing lines trace paths of movement and growth, speaking to the idea of moving forward while staying grounded in connection. At the heart of each meeting place rests a sibling — seven in total — bound by shared roots and stories. The stars shimmer as a gentle reminder of loved ones who have passed, their presence still guiding from above. The earthy brown linework forms the mountains, echoing the landscape she calls home. Scattered figures throughout the piece embody life and independence, each one walking their own path while remaining part of something greater — a family, a story, a Country.
