We are incredibly proud and honored that Widows Sons Newcastle Chapter was entrusted to support the Grand Master Sleepout and connect with an impactful local charity, Reach Homeless Services Newcastle. Reach provides support to individuals affected by homelessness, substance abuse, mental health challenges, or social isolation within our community.

Last year and again this year, we have had the opportunity to work alongside Masonicare, and the UGL of NSW & ACT on raising fund for the Grand Master Sleepout, contributing to an initiative that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness within our local community.

Being delegated the responsibility of presenting $10,000.00 is both a privilege and a reflection of the trust placed in WS Newcastle Chapter to give back, support those in need and make a positive impact where it matters most.

We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside organisations doing such important work and to play our part in supporting our local community.

This Labour Day, Masonicare recognises the people whose work, service and generosity help build stronger and more caring communities.

At the heart of Masonicare is a commitment to benevolence and service supporting people in times of need and helping Freemasons and Lodges create a greater charitable impact within communities across NSW and the ACT.

Whether it is supporting local charities, people experiencing hardship, families, older Australians, people with disability, emergency services or important community initiatives, positive change is made possible when people come together with a shared purpose.

As we enjoy the Labour Day long weekend, we also acknowledge the many people who will continue working and serving others throughout the public holiday.

From everyone at Masonicare, have a safe and meaningful Labour Day.

A presentation of $9,200 was made in the South to the Shining Stars Foundation, a registered not for profit organisation co-founded by Kylee Bentham.

The Foundation provides vital support to people experiencing homelessness and hardship, delivering both homeless services and community outreach programs across the Wollondilly, Macarthur and Outer Sydney regions. Their work continues to make a meaningful difference to individuals and families who rely on compassionate assistance during difficult times.

This outstanding fundraising effort was led by RW Bro Colin McKenzie, who coordinated two separate raffles and organised the sale of tickets at several supermarket locations throughout Wollondilly. His dedication, along with the enthusiastic involvement of our Members, ensured the success of this initiative. We also gratefully acknowledge the support of Masonicare, whose matched contribution doubled the funds raised, enabling the full amount to be presented to the Foundation.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the many local businesses who generously allowed our Members to sell tickets outside their premises. Their willingness to support community focused fundraising is deeply valued. Most importantly, we offer a heartfelt thank you to the Residents of Wollondilly and surrounding areas, whose kindness and willingness to purchase a ticket or two made this result possible. The first prize, a very full trailer load of firewood was especially well received at this time of year and added great appeal to the raffle.

This combined effort reflects the strong community spirit of our district and the commitment of Lodge Picton to supporting organisations that provide essential care and outreach.

We can make a difference, one act of generosity at a time.

Lodge Weston-Kurri Kurri No. 253 is proud and grateful to support NourishEd Australia and the incredible work they do for individuals and families experiencing hardship in our community.

We believe that giving back is about more than raising funds. It’s about coming together, recognising the organisations making a real difference, and helping them continue their important work.

Through the generosity of everyone who supported the Grand Master's Sleepout 2026, we have been able to make this contribution to NourishEd Australia and we couldn’t be more grateful to be part of it.

NourishEd Australia is a volunteer-led organisation providing practical support to people facing hardship, including access to nourishing food, hot meals, grocery hampers, education and other essential assistance. Their mission is to help address hunger, food insecurity and homelessness across the Lake Macquarie community.

To Masonicare and to everyone who took part in and supported the Grand Master's Sleepout 2026, we extend our heartfelt thanks. Your generosity has helped turn an act of giving into meaningful support for people in our community.

FXAA is a registered Australian charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Fragile X syndrome through counseling, education, helpline support, and advocacy. We are thrilled to help empower their vital work across Australia.

History in the making for the Craft! Masonic history was made at the monumental reinstallation for Lodge Blacktown Kildare No. 393, led by RW Bro Jay Tayag, Grand Director of Ceremonies.

Over 400 Brethren and guests gathered including 100+ Grand Officers and 28 Fraternals with delegations traveling from across Orange, Canberra, Central Coast, Tweed Shire, Nowra, Wollongong, Victoria, Wagga Wagga, and the Philippines, making this one of the largest Masonic lodge installations in recent memory!

From an incredible light show and a custom cake by TGFSSC of NSW to a moving presentation by the DeMolay sons of the GCS (JayDen & JayRen) and massive raffle giveaways, it was an unforgettable evening of innovation, inspiration, and brotherhood.

Congratulations to RW Bro Jay Tayag and Lodge Blacktown Kildare 393! 🏛️✨

Raised through the Grand Master's Sleepout campaign, these funds directly support our work with people experiencing homelessness across New South Wales. Special thanks to Vice President Emily Boxall and Board Member Brendon Jenkins for representing Hills Community Aid at the cheque presentation.

Worshipful Master Simon Wood proudly presented a $4,000 donation to Tony Davis and the incredible team at The Bikers Hand.

The Bikers Hand supports over 140 local organisations across the Central Coast, facing a $26,000 monthly food bill to keep our community fed.

Last time in Wodonga, UGLV hosted an unforgettable gathering where the UGL of NSW & ACT presented "The Flight of the Winding Stairs" by RW Bro Jurjen "Jay" Tayag and RW Bro Ferdinand Pandes PAGM, alongside 1st Degree sectional lectures by Grand Master, MW Bro B. Khristian Albano.

This time, the tables are turned! The UGLV brethren will take center stage to perform an exemplification of their Consecration Ceremony.
