Daisy is a beautiful Kelpie looking for a very special home with someone who truly understands her breed and is willing to give her the time, patience, and consistency she deserves.

When Daisy first arrived in our care, she was incredibly timid and found the shelter environment overwhelming. With patience, kindness and time, we've watched her slowly begin to trust and reveal her beautiful, sweet-natured personality. Once she feels safe, Daisy is an affectionate girl who loves cuddles, spending time with her people, and simply being part of the family. Daisy is also incredibly intelligent and thrives with calm, consistent guidance.

Being a Kelpie, Daisy is an active dog who needs plenty of physical exercise and mental enrichment. While she hasn't shown a high drive in our care, she still needs an owner who understands the unique needs of working breeds. She will also require secure fencing, as she is capable of jumping fences.

Daisy is looking for an experienced, adult-only home with someone who has previous Kelpie or working-breed experience. She won't be the right match for everyone, but for the person willing to earn her trust, she'll reward you with unwavering loyalty, quiet affection, and a truly special bond.

Update
A very proud announcement to make from us today:

From January up to today
( 19th July 2026 )
We have handed out a staggering
537 🎉🎉🎉🎉
dog coats all handmade by our amazing volunteer group here at Pawsome Stitchers.
They are: Christina,Belinda,Jo & Donna. 🫶

And we still have more going out in the next few weeks as well, once they are out I’ll update the total, but I’m guessing it will reach 600 easily.

Thanks to everyone who has given us some fabric donations along the way, you are amazing for helping us out, as we are self funded & it’s hard times especially at the moment.
Any assistance is welcomed & we really are grateful for anything that comes in.
We use polar fleece fabric, 2 layers in the dog coats & Velcro on the belly straps.

Billy was busy today helping to deliver some nice warm coats and some toys and goodies to Friends of Hawkesbury Companion Animal Shelter … 15 hand made large coats to help keeping the doggos warm 🐶🐶❤️❤️

Special delivery to Working Paws Dog Rescue over the weekend - 20 smaller coats for the little cherubs in care. Gorgeous little Diesel who has just found his forever home looked very sharp in his doggy coat 🐶🐶❤️❤️

Hello to our lovely followers.
I hope everyone is well & staying warm as it’s getting colder each week.

Just puting it out there,
As they say you don’t get
if you don’t ask.

We know times are tough but
Is anyone able to help out with donations of the monetary kind $$$
or fabric ( polar fleece) to help go towards the making of the next round of dog coats that we’re completing to donate to the shelters & rescue & assistance groups?

Anything at all would be apppreciated.
As it’s getting super cold at the pounds/ shelters now & the doggies would love a warm coat to get through winter until they can find their new homes. Lately we’ve also been making tiny coats for abandoned & orphan baby lambs & goats.
( we’ll load up some pictures soon of them, so cute).
