And yes, we know the axle housing has a lot of old oil & muck on it, this will be cleaned up once the truck can be moved outside & pressure washed.😉

On the Studebaker front, rewiring is continuing. You don't realise how many lights & switches there are until they have to be connected (& work).
Every truck needs a bit of 'bling', so the horns will make sure there is always something to shine.😎

Although most are interested in when the Bedford will be going, an important part of that is being able to stop! All the brake components are being stripped, cleaned or replaced to ensure that it stops as well as it goes.

Another part being worked on is inside the cabin. The seats have been redone, the dash cleaned up & the rat eaten wiring repaired.

Although the interior is coming alone nicely, one thing can't be improved. I don't think ergonomics was even a concept when this truck was designed as it is near impossible to get in or out of the cabin easily or gracefully. 🫨

It is with much sadness to note the passing of Terry Donnelly.
Terry's long involvement with the RFS, especially the Heritage Group, is almost legendary.
Our condolences to his family, & although he is no longer with us, he will never be forgotten.

RIP Terry.

While on the subject of the Bedford, the old tyres have been removed, the wheels shot blasted, primed, new tyres fitted & the first coat of paint applied.
Things are still happening on the Studebaker, just not really photo worthy. Rewiring is under way, fitting lights, door hardware is in & replacement glass in the planning.
They might be small steps, but they're forward steps.👍
