Ever wanted to create your own hand-printed artwork, but didn't know where to start? 🎨

Imagine walking away from a single Saturday with a beautiful, original linocut print that you designed, carved and printed with your own hands. That's exactly what happens in our Linocut Printmaking Workshop for Beginners at Rozelle Campus.

Under the expert guidance of tutor Rosemary Cook, you'll learn the full process from go to whoa: sketching your design, transferring it onto a lino block, carving with different tools to create texture and detail, inking your block, and printing onto beautiful paper stocks. No experience needed, just bring an image you love and your creativity.

Ever walked past a street corner and wished you could capture it forever? Our Urban Sketching Group gives you exactly that skill, and so much more.

Grab a sketchbook, find a sunny (or rainy!) spot around Rozelle, and discover how to see the world differently. You'll learn to simplify busy scenes, create strong focal points, capture mood and atmosphere, and translate everyday streetscapes into art you're proud of.

Beginners are warmly welcomed and guided through the fundamentals of perspective, composition and observation. More experienced sketchers can stretch their skills further with watercolour wash, tonal work and figure drawing, all with friendly feedback from practising artist and tutor Elinor Pickard.

One sketcher told us she went from "no idea what I was doing" to confidently building a full scene in just one session, and now she's hooked!
