These beautiful images from our 1st Anniversary Family Day on July 12th are more than just a performance; they are a visual representation of our core mission. At the DAC Australasian Chapter, we believe that when we bring diverse traditions together, we create a specialised platform for the cognitive and social growth of our differently-abled champions.

Through our unique methodology, these cultural arts become a bridge - moving our neurodiverse youth from social isolation toward a profound sense of community belonging. Seeing these two iconic art forms side-by-side on the Redgum Centre stage reminds us that inclusion is a masterpiece we create together.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to the wonderful Jyothi Rinish, who served as our incredible Emcee for the DAC Australasian Chapter’s 1st Anniversary Family Day on July 12th!

Jyothi, your vibrant energy and dynamic presence truly brought our stage to life at the Redgum Function Centre. From introducing our breathtaking cultural performers to keeping our 250+ guests engaged and excited, you were the heartbeat of the event.

At DAC Australasian Chapter, our mission is to foster community participation and belonging for differently-abled children and young adults. Having a host who can connect so warmly with our families and supporters is essential to creating the inclusive environment we strive for.

Our recap of the 1st Anniversary Family Day continues with these stunning highlights of the Mohiniyattam performance! We were honoured to have the talented Darsana Arun and her team from the Navyam Centre for Mohiniyattam grace our stage with this fluid and beautiful classical dance form from Kerala.

What an incredible day! Our 1st Anniversary Family Day at the Redgum Function Centre was a resounding success, and we owe it all to you - our performers, participants, and supporters.

A Special Salute to Our Cultural Stars: Our stage was transformed by the performers and the vibrant rhythms of our community. A massive thank you to one and all.
