The Melbourne crew had their most recent outing last weekend!
Alex reports: It was a good day. It was a bit slow at the start, but as time went on, more people started coming out. We had a few heated conversations, but overall people were very open, willing to engage, and seemed genuinely interested. A number of people appeared to move their position closer to ours through the discussions. We also introduced around five people to AAA.
It's encouraging to see faithful Australian men and women speaking up for the preborn, even in the most leftist cities around our nation. Victoria was the first Australian state to decriminalise abortion in 2008, over a decade before some other states. Now, over 10,000 children are murdered within its borders every year, not to speak of the countless more that are created, only to be abandoned or destroyed by the IVF industry.
Pray for this crew, that God would bless their ministry and that his word from their mouths may not return void. Pray that God would send more workers to the harvest fields. We have courageous evangelists in South and East Melbourne, and in Geelong, but are yet to find Christians in Central, North, and West Melbourne willing to defend the preborn in the name of Christ Jesus.
There is much work to be done. But Christ is King, and he will accomplish his will, even in Melbourne.
