😄 Winston Churchill. Statesman. Orator. Accidental comedian.

"Our dog chases people on a bike. We've had to take it off him."

😂 The. Bike. Off. HIM.

Not the chasing. Not the dog. The BIKE. 🐶

Churchill survived two world wars, served as Prime Minister twice, and won the Nobel Prize for Literature, and yet somehow this eleven-word observation about a cycling dog may be his finest achievement. 😄

We at Nepean Therapy Dogs would like to formally confirm that none of our therapy dogs currently own, operate, or have access to a bicycle. 🚴🚫 They have been thoroughly vetted. Their cycling ambitions, if any, have been firmly but lovingly redirected into the far more respectable pursuit of bringing comfort and joy to hospitals, aged care homes, schools, and workplaces.

They are professionals. They are dignified. They are absolutely not cycling anywhere.

🐾💙 Therapy Dog Visit Brightens the Day at Mount Druitt Hospital 💙🐾

There’s nothing quite like a friendly wagging tail to lift the spirit!

During a recent visit to Mount Druitt Hospital, Robyn was warmly greeted by our lovely Therapy Dog, Beatrice, who quickly brought comfort, smiles, and plenty of cuddles. Robyn couldn’t help but smile as she spent special time with Beatrice, who was delighted to share her gentle affection and companionship.

These moments are what therapy dog visits are all about — easing stress, sharing joy, and reminding patients they’re not alone on their journey. 💛

A big thank you to everyone involved in making these visits possible, and of course to Beatrice for spreading so much happiness wherever she goes!
