You might remember my earlier post about the chunkiest brown I’ve ever handled… well here’s the release video of that absolute unit 🐍 Goes to show just how solid this snake really was.
Who reckons this is one of the thickest browns you’ve seen?

This Eastern Brown’s been living on Macca’s Big Macs and Coke 🍔🥤 One of the chunkiest browns I’ve ever handled 🐍. Someone needs to remind this snake that it's meant to be on a lean diet of rodents 🐀

This Eastern Brown had one too many Bundy rums carrying on like that one loose unit mate who reckons his own shadow’s talking smack and wants to punch on 🤣🐍🥃

Something other than the usual spot the snake. On tonights episode of whose 👃 is this! Have a guess test your skills 😅🐍

Disturbing a sleeping giant is always a good way to start a day 🐍 This big chunky Diamond Python was asked to relocate from a work area at a local mine after a few electricians decided they weren’t too keen on sharing the workspace with him 😅
Can’t blame them it's an impressive unit! Only removed from the immediate work area still onsite which is a great outcome 🐍

Every job is a surprise on arrival you never really know what you’re about to walk into.
On this one, I rocked up to a Red Belly that had decided the best hiding spot in the house was the tube of the customer’s vacuum 🤣
So how did they make sure it stayed put?
They turned the vacuum on and sucked it straight into the bag 😂 Definitely not recommended, but the snake came out unharmed just a bit dusty and probably questioning its life choices. Gave me a good laugh though 🐍💨

I don’t usually pay much attention to Facebook memories when they pop up, but this is one I genuinely look forward to every year.
This was back when I’d taken a couple of years off snake catching and was working as a groundskeeper after moving back to Sydney. During some pretty heavy floods in the park, I’d spend my time driving around rescuing wildlife where I could. On this particular day, I spotted a blue tongue drifting along the floodwaters wrapped around a log. Pulled up, jumped out, and scooped him up before he went any further. Ended up sticking him on the dash to warm up 😅
Safe to say he wasn’t too thrilled at first but once he realised he wasn’t about to become part of the river system, he seemed pretty appreciative.
