Tashi Delek from Sherpa Association of NSW (SANSW)!!! SANSW is non- profit organization which was established in 2008 as Sherpa kyidug Australia, which is now known as Sherpa association of NSW. The main vision of SANSW is to unite all the Sherpa people living in Sydney and work together as a community. SANSW has been actively organizing various cultural programs throughout the year in the past 11 years in order to promote and preserve sherpa culture, language and costumes. The organisation celebrates Lhosar (New year) every year which is one of the major events organized by SANSW which focuses on bringing all the Sherpa communities together. SANSW also organizes other annual events such as Buddha Jayanti, AGM, charity programs, BBQs, etc.
