ستُغلق شركة Menulog عملياتها في أستراليا بعد 20 عامًا من العمل، وفقًا لما أعلنته الشركة اليوم.
وقالت الشركة إنها، رغم تاريخها العريق الذي يمتد لعقدين من الزمن، كانت تواجه ظروفًا صعبة في الفترة الأخيرة.

وسيُتأثر بالإغلاق نحو 120 موظفًا، وستقدّم لهم الشركة حزم تعويضات مالية، كما ستمنح الدراجين (الموظفين المتعاقدين) المؤهلين دفعة طوعية لمدة أربعة أسابيع.

وقال المدير العام لشركة Menulog، مورتن بيلينغ:
"أولويتنا الآن هي دعم عملائنا والدراجين وشركائنا. ولهذا السبب نوفر للجميع فترة انتقالية مدتها أسبوعان يمكن خلالها للعملاء استبدال القسائم والرصيد غير المستخدم."
وأضافت الشركة أن منصّة Menulog ستظل تعمل حتى منتصف الليل من يوم 26 نوفمبر.

Menulog will close its Australian operations after 20 years in business, the company announced today.
While Menulog has a proud 20 year history, it has been navigating challenging circumstances.
About 120 employees will be affected by the closure, who will be provided redundancy packages. The company will also provide eligible couriers with a four-week “voluntary payment”.
The managing director for Menulog, Morten Belling, said:
Our priority now is to support our customers, couriers and partners. This is why we are providing everyone a two-week transition period, in which customers can redeem unused vouchers and credits. The Menulog platform will remain operational until midnight 26 November.

في خطوة تهدف إلى تخفيف الأعباء عن الأسر وتحسين فرص الأطفال في التعليم المبكر، أعلنت الحكومة الأسترالية عن تغييرات جديدة في نظام Child Care Subsidy (CCS) تدخل حيز التنفيذ اعتبارًا من 5 يناير 2026.
بموجب التحديث الجديد، ستحصل جميع العائلات المؤهّلة على ضمان ثلاثة أيام من رعاية الأطفال المدعومة (72 ساعة كل أسبوعين)
حتى في حال لم يستوفِ الوالدان شروط العمل أو الدراسة السابقة ضمن "اختبار النشاط".
كما تشمل التغييرات رفع سقف الأسعار بالساعة لخدمات الرعاية المختلفة،
وتطبيق نظام جديد لدفع “فرق الرسوم” (Gap Fee) مباشرة إلى مقدمي الخدمات اعتبارًا من 1 يناير 2026.

وتهدف الحكومة من خلال هذه الإجراءات إلى توسيع إمكانية الوصول إلى خدمات الطفولة المبكرة وجعل التعليم والرعاية أكثر شمولًا وعدالة لجميع الأسر الأسترالية.

In a move aimed at easing the financial burden on families and improving early learning opportunities for children, the Australian government has announced new changes to the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), which will come into effect on 5 January 2026.
Under the new update, all eligible families will receive a guarantee of three days of subsidised child care (72 hours every fortnight), even if the parents do not meet the previous work or study requirements under the “activity test.”
The changes also include raising the hourly rate caps for various child care services and implementing a new system for paying the “gap fee” directly to service providers, starting 1 January 2026.

Through these measures, the government aims to expand access to early childhood services and make education and care more inclusive and equitable for all Australian families.

Starting March 2026, age verification will become mandatory for all websites and apps in Australia.
🔹 This includes:
Mature-only websites and apps
AI applications that may generate mature content
Social media platforms and some video games

🎯 Goal: Protect children and teens from inappropriate content and promote digital safety for all.

💡 Companies and developers should prepare to implement secure and reliable verification systems before the law comes into effect.
