ids with epilepsy for one week before heading off to the next family. They came with their very own ‘bear book’ so that the parents and child(ren) could write about their adventures together. From the photos and stories we read in the ‘bear book’ we could see that the bears gave much enjoyment and comfort, sometimes to kids going through really tough times. Elly or Elliot gave children something special to cuddle, especially when they had medical appointments or a stay in hospital. So the story goes......
“When Elly and Elliot went back home to their Ted-E-Bear Village, they told everyone about the things they did and how much fun they had meeting new friends. Now all the other Ted-E-Bears want to go out to live with children with epilepsy and join their family!”
