Shalom Betar community! We are your 2027 Shnatties 🇮🇱🤍
We are beyond excited to be heading on Shnat next year. We are proud to be the largest group going since 2017 (major flex 💪🏼).
We know how impactful Shnat is, not only on a personal level but also for the strength of Betar in Australia and in Israel.
However, Shnat comes with significant costs, and for many of us, it’s not affordable. Any donation big or small would mean the world to us🇮🇱🤍

If you are in grades 9,10,11 or 12 come and join us for a lovely weekend away.

Please take a moment to read our new Kashrut standards in Betar. We’re currently transitioning to a Kosher-style catering model for all future camps. We will continue to only serve kosher meat, strictly separating meat and dairy, and avoiding explicitly non-kosher ingredients. However, not all items will carry formal Kosher certification.

Wow, where do we begin? Over the past two years we have been incredibly lucky to have our amazing Shaliach Dvir here with us in Australia. Watching him guide our new madatzim, connect with Chanichim and support our bogrim was incredible. He has had an enormous impact on Betar Australia and we are incredibly sad to see him go.

Below is some of Dvir’s reflections

Through this process, I learned so much about myself - about my true strengths and how they come to life.
And the main thing I take from it all is that I love helping people connect -
whether it’s to themselves, to Judaism, to Israel, to their health, or to one another.
The ability to help bridge connections - at least that’s how I describe it right now.

If my feeling is accurate, then the answer to the question I asked at the beginning is clearly no.
This is not where my Shlichut ends.
The mission does not end here. It doesn’t feel like anything is ending - on the contrary.
I feel even more eager to continue refining myself and charging forward toward the fulfillment of myself and those around me.

Thank you for everything you have done Dvir, Betar Australia is forever grateful and we will miss you! 💙🤍
