On the 5th of November, TechConnect was delighted to host ’s Alice Bowman, Mission Operations Manager for the New Horizons Mission. For 1 hour, the space community gathered in NewSouth Global theatre to hear from Alice, who shared her incredible 9-year journey to the Dwarf Planet Pluto.
In addition to listening to Alice Bowman’s remarkable story, UNSW also hosted an exhibition of the NSW Space Ecosystem featuring local High Schools student, our UNSW Women in Engineering Society UNSW student-led project groups such as BLUEsat UNSW and AIAA UNSW Rocketry Team and as well as our space start-up community, featuring HEO Robotics
