🌿✨ 2026 Step Up to Clean Up – A Wonderful Success! ✨🌿

On Sunday, 1 March 2026, from 3:00–5:00pm, our community came together at Hurstville Community Garden for this year’s Clean Up Australia Day activities — and what a fantastic afternoon it was!

Proudly organised by Hurstville Community Garden and Georges River Association, we were delighted to be joined by Councillor Ben Wang : Georges River Council - Hurstville Ward, Ash Ambihaipahar MP - Member for Barton, the event brought neighbours, families and friends together with one shared goal: to care for our local environment and strengthen our community spirit.

We also acknowledge the broader Clean Up Australia Day efforts led by Georges River Council. Earlier that morning, Council’s Bushcare team gathered at Claydon Reserve, Sans Souci, continuing the shared commitment across our region to protect and care for our natural environment (https://www.facebook.com/share/p/182Pj6U7iE/).💚

Thanks to everyone’s enthusiastic efforts, the Community Garden and nearby Woodville Park were refreshed and revitalised. Together, we removed litter, tidied garden areas, and helped restore the beauty of this much-loved green space. 🌱

More than just a clean-up, the afternoon was a reminder that small actions — when done together — create meaningful change. We saw children learning by example, neighbours connecting, and volunteers working side by side with smiles and purpose.

💚 Thank you to every participant who gave their time and energy. Your contribution has made a real difference to Hurstville.

Let’s continue working together for a cleaner, greener, and brighter future for our community. We look forward to seeing you at our next green initiative!

Christmas Night Market 2025 at St George’s Hurstville Anglican Church

This Christmas, St George's Hurstville Anglican Church warmly invites you, your family, and your friends to join us for our Christmas Night Market! We are proudly to participate in the coming event.
The event will be held on Saturday 13 December 2025, from 4:30pm to 8:30pm.

Our Christmas Market has always been an important way for us to connect with our community.
This year’s Night Market will feature a wide variety of stalls, including books, handmade crafts, toys, household items, boot sale of second-hand goods, and delicious food stalls — providing affordable Christmas gift options and a warm space for people to meet, mingle, and build connections.
All proceeds this year will be donated to Hurstville Public School’s Sensory Park Project, supporting a better learning and play environment for local children.
More than just a market, the Christmas Night Market is a special moment for the community to come together and share love and hope.
Christmas is a season filled with warmth and meaning, and through this event, we hope to share this joy with our neighbourhood and extend care to those in need.
We warmly welcome residents of Hurstville and surrounding areas to join us for the 2025 Christmas Night Market.
