Ahead of the 2027 NSW election, we're asking the next NSW Government to help lower-income families send their kids on school camp. Cost is one of the biggest reasons kids miss out, and we want to change that.

🌿 New Member Shoutout: Grounded Education

We’re excited to welcome Grounded Education to the Outdoors NSW & ACT community!

Based on the South Coast, Grounded Education creates opportunities for children to learn, explore and play in nature through bush kindy, adventurers and playgroup programs. Their approach puts nature, child-led learning, creativity and wellbeing at the heart of the experience. 🌱

Their work is especially timely as bush kindy continues to grow across the South Coast. In a recent article from The Bugle News, “Nature’s classroom: Why bush kindy is booming on the South Coast,” the growing interest in nature-based learning highlights just how valuable outdoor experiences can be for children.

We’re proud to have organisations like Grounded Education as part of our member community and look forward to supporting the work they’re doing to connect children with nature and outdoor learning.
