When Hallie started selling brownies, we wanted it to be about more than just making money.

We wanted her to learn that money has value and that when you work hard for it, you appreciate it so much more.

She's learning how to earn it, save it, spend it wisely and even give some of it to people who need it more than she does. That's why she's decided to donate some of her brownie money to charity. ❤️

This month, she’s donating her money to Rise With Phoenix - Fundraiser & hair donation

One book that really inspired us is Rich Kid, Smart Kid by Robert Kiyosaki. It talks about teaching kids about money from a young age, because these aren't lessons most of us learnt at school.

We want Hallie to grow up knowing that money isn't just for buying things. It's something you can use to help others, create opportunities and make a difference.
We're so proud of her for working hard, baking with a smile and choosing to give back.

- Making his Drad proud telling everyone in his path about his fundraiser for Chris O'brien Lifehouse and Kids With Cancer Foundation Wigs4kids. Telling them all about his Drad and that he’s making him proud 😭🫶🏻

Ending the weekend, Phoenix’s fundraiser has reached $7,599. What an effort for only having been up for 16 days.

Let’s keep the momentum coming the week ahead and as we get closer to planning the big cut event ✂️

The 22nd July 2023 is when Drad grew his wings and Phoenix knew life would never feel the same.

3 years on he’s working so hard to achieve his $10,000 goal in memory of his Drad (Grandad) to donate to Chris O'brien Lifehouse to then achieve his next goal of cutting to donate his meter long hair to Kids With Cancer Foundation Wigs4Kids program.

If there was a perfect day to support Phoenix; it’s today.

All donations are welcome, big or small, and the little part where you can add some encouraging words is always so appreciated. Phoenix reads them out loud to us every day and I can see his little face beam with pride. He’s 8 and has been raised to know encouraging words are a great gift.

Please consider helping him get there today.

After all your guesses… Phoenix’s hair has officially been measured and the verdict is in!

His hair is 99cm long! 🤯🔥

That’s just 1cm away from an incredible 1 METRE before the big chop! 💇‍♂️🧡

Congratulations to Ambah Prasad for your amazing guess and to everyone else who was close and joined in on the game! (There were some super close guesses).

From today, we’ll be tracking his growth all the way to cut day to see if Phoenix can reach the full 100cm milestone before donating his hair to Wigs4Kids.

Every centimetre has been grown with purpose. ❤️

After years of patience, this is what Phoenix’s hair looks like after wash day.

Soon it will be cut and donated to help create a wig for a child, while his fundraiser supports the incredible work of Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.

He had a $10,000 goal before he will commit to the chop!
