It was an honour to attend the Communities in Cultural Transition (CiCT) Forum and represent the Afghan Women Support Association alongside many inspiring community leaders, organisations, researchers, and multicultural representatives from across Sydney.

A heartfelt thank you to STARTTS for organising such an important and meaningful event and for creating a space for conversations around belonging, culture, refugee experiences, leadership, and inclusion.

It was a great pleasure meeting STARTTS CEO Jorge Aroche and Jasmina Bajraktarevic, Community Service Coordinator. I truly appreciated the opportunity to connect and learn more about the incredible work being done to support refugee and multicultural communities across Australia.

The forum provided a valuable opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussions, exchange perspectives, and strengthen connections with individuals and organisations dedicated to supporting diverse communities and fostering social inclusion.

Looking forward to continued collaboration, learning, and creating lasting positive impact together for our communities.

Thank you to the organisers and health representatives for creating an opportunity to discuss the needs of multicultural communities and explore ways we can work together to improve community health and support services.

As CEO & Founder of Afghan Women Support Association, I truly appreciate the ongoing collaboration with local services and organisations to better support women, families, and culturally diverse communities across Western Sydney ๐Ÿค

Looking forward to more community partnerships and positive outcomes together.
