Pellet hat! 🎩
But for real, this is Sugar and he is as sweet as he sounds. He is all grown up and ready for his new forever family.

Red eyed whites or albino rabbits often have a bad rep and they can find it very hard to find a family to call their own. Sugar is a beautiful REW and actually quite unique as they’re not often seen in Netherland Dwarves.

Be the man that Sugar needs and apply to adopt him today 🤍

The bunnies are showing some love this St Valentine’s Day 💚 Remember to tell that special someone that all you want for Valentines is a bunny… (no, really)

That’s not how you’re supposed to use the hay feeder…

Join us for a daily check of our adorable litter of babies.
First we check they are healthy, big bellies and warm.
Then we weigh them and record it. They should be growing every day!
Finally we return them to their cozy nest and repeat with the next one 💚

Something tasty is on our Netherland Dwarf family’s pen, not sure what though!

Gorgeous baby Sugar is available for pre-adoption now 🤍 Message for more info.

Spice is demonstrating the perfect bunny nest making. Rabbits collect material to create a soft and cozy environment for their litter before they give birth.
As you can tell from the other baby behind her, rabbits can give birth every 35 days so it’s important to desex and make sure you confirm the genders of your pair!

Stay tuned for some updates on her babies coming soon (they’re almost two weeks now and going very well 🥰)!

🌾 Hay should be a H U G E part of a rabbit’s diet - at least 80% of their diet. Rabbits should have access to unlimited amounts of hay! Hay provides the necessary fibre needed for a healthy gut, so your rabbit can keep producing those round and golden poops 💛

Hay helps:
🦷 Grind and wear down rabbits’ ever growing teeth
🔍 Encourage foraging behaviour in rabbits so they’re mentally stimulated
🦠 Keeps the bacteria in their guts healthy
💪🏻 Provide high fibre (and other nutrients) and reduces likelihood of gut stasis

There are many other types of hay available in Australia: barley, teff, meadow (or rye), fescue, Timothy, and orchard. The rescue bunnies at Centennial Park Rabbit Retreat gets their fair share of oaten, rye, and timothy hays every day. Providing a mixture of hay to our bunnies gives them different textures, smells, and tastes to enjoy 💚🌾
