BOXINGNSW are looking for our First Nations competitors to represent their state and people at the First Nations Boxing Championships on September 19th in Hamilton. BRISBANE QLD.

ALL REGISTRATIONS for the BoxingNSW First Nations Team need to be made through BoxingNSW - [email protected]

BNSW are opening this up and we want our strongest First Nations Development Team put forth.

Nominated Weight Division.
Experience.

This EOI and the submission link are for the following team members:

• Youth Male
• Youth Female
• Elite Male
• Elite Female
• Coaches
• Team Manager

4 x Coaches, and 1 Manager / Coach, currently registered with their MA, Technical and tactical coaching, bout preparation, reports to the Lead Coach on technical matters; contributes to athlete performance planning. Requires current Bronze, Silver or Gold-Level Coaching Accreditation.

Selection Process

Selection is open to Youth and Elite athletes across all divisions.

The Selection Panel will prioritise athletes based on:

Performance and placing at the most recent National Selection Event 2026.
Performance and placing at the 2025 Boxing Australia National Championships.
Demonstrated international competitiveness and readiness.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

Be a current registered member of their State Boxing Association.
Be eligible to represent Australia.
Hold a current Australian passport valid for international travel.
Meet all World Boxing eligibility requirements.
Be available for the full duration of the tour, including any pre-departure activities.
Agree to comply with Boxing Australia’s Code of Conduct, Team Membership Agreement, and Integrity requirements.

Athlete Expression of Interest.
Current competition record (if requested).
Confirmation of current weight division. .
Any additional information supporting your application.

Entry fees- $50.00 and must be paid when rgistering for the event.
