✨ Spirit of SuperNaari Saree 💫
I love wearing art, culture and stories woven into silk. ✨
For me, fashion has always been more than what we wear — it is a form of self-expression, heritage and storytelling.
One of my greatest passions is custom designing sarees and collaborating with the incredible artisans of India, bringing traditional artistry into contemporary fashion. 🪡🎨✨
I have always custom-designed my own Spirit of SuperNaari sarees — and this one is particularly close to my heart. 💜
The hand-painted pallu features a Mughal–Rajput inspired portrait of an Empress with a parrot, brought to life with intricate pearl and zari work, embellished further with Swarovski crystals and peacock minakari zari border 🦚 🦜💎
The parrot is a beautiful and timeless motif in Indian art — symbolising love, communication, longing, romance and wisdom. 🦜❤️
Mughal art traditions are celebrated for their refined realism, delicate detailing and naturalistic representation, while Rajput art often brings a more lyrical, romantic and devotional sensibility. Together, these traditions create a visual language that feels both regal and deeply poetic.
The parrot also carries a fascinating literary connection through Tutinama — the celebrated “Tales of a Parrot” — and folklore, storytelling traditions where the parrot becomes a companion, teacher and messenger of love. 📖🦜
And perhaps that is why this saree feels so SuperNaari to me.
A woman can be regal and bold, rooted and limitless, traditional and transformative.
I don't just wear a saree.
