Just a reminder that from Saturday 16th May the shed will be having a trial run for 2 months to gauge traffic on Saturdays from 9.30 am until 2 pm.

Important notice to members
It has been decided that as from today all shirts must be worn backwards while at the Shed. This action has been taken because the logo and name on the front of the shirts has become dirty and in some cases damaged. By reversing the shirt it should remain clean and members will be easily recognized by their backsides. Please comply with this directive!!!

Does anyone know a friendly/honest antique dealer who would be willing to help us price some of the furniture and bric a brack that is often donated to us. Certain pieces are definitely antique and very collectible. We don’t want to overcharge but are aware that our fundraising relies on not underselling. We currently have Huon pine chest of drawers x2, a beautiful treadle sewing machine , a tea trolley plus more. How much are they worth and do we restore them or leave them as they are? We would love some professional help. Please contact Steve
