Thank you Swansea TAS Community Garden.

Steve and Linda Miller from Salvation Army , living in Swansea, have partnered with us for the distribution of excess produce in our community. Nice not to see apples falling on the ground, but picked by a small team and distributed and donated. Many thanks to Pete who carefully netted our apple trees this season. Made a huge difference.
Our next working bee/get together is Thursday 7th May at 10.30am. Please drop in and say hi!

Thank you! Your support means everything!

Thank you! Your support means everything!

As we step into a new year, we want to pause and say thank you.
Your generosity and support have helped change lives across our community. Here’s a glimpse of what your support made possible:
Because of you, over 9,600 Tasmanians were supported through our services. We were able to provide 33,000 nights of safe accommodation and over $1 million in financial support.
We thank you for being part of this incredible journey.
Your support truly makes a difference to us, and to every person we've supported.
We look forward to another year of standing alongside those in need and continuing this important work together. 💙

SCAM ALERT: No Interest Loans being offered at Christmas

We are once again seeing fake pages and posts claiming to offer No Interest Loans (NILs) through The Salvation Army.

Please do not engage with these pages or posts.

We do not process NILs through Facebook, private messages, or any online forms outside our official channels.

The Salvation Army will never ask for your banking or personal identity information over social media.

While our Christmas Cheer Application form is online this year, the official link does not ask for your MyGov log-in information or banking details. We will also only ever ask for you to present your ID in person at one of our sites, never online.

Please stay alert and help protect others by reporting any suspicious pages or messages.
